For years, human intends to compel each other to fulfill their own will by all means. War may be one of the ways to achieve it. War is a brutal and ugly enterprise. Its violent nature is to create the controversial social effects, and it raises moral questions for any thoughtful person. "Peace of mind" is an ultimate goal for humans. This inner spiritual desire can be obtained without using violence instead of peaceful measures to acquire that stage of life.
In "Promise Land", three Chinese emerging artists – Guo Qipeng, Su Jinyuan and Xia Cao use their impeccable sculptures to express the true beauty of "inner peace" within human mind.
