Paradise is a religious or metaphysical term for a place in which existence is positive, harmonious and eternal. In paradise, there is only peace, prosperity and happiness.
However, four artists here – Deng Chengwen, Li Yueling, Attasit Pokpong and Mitsuru Watanabe are attempting to create a counter-image of the supposed miseries of human civilization – the Paradise Lost. Their imagination, their thinking and the feeling can bring us travel through time and space; opening a new path to another dimension.
Four Artists will lead us to separate ways to Renaissance landscapes, modern society of China and Thailand, let us experience the forever-interesting yet mystic subject of imagination and human behavior.
The behavior of strolling with blinded eyes to absurd…
yet this has become a social phenomenon.
Children have the most pure mind; contaminated
living space destructs this goodliness.
In the world of imagination, everything is accessible
and nothing is forbidden.
Loss of innocence and inner frustration causes thai women of this
generation anxiety and fear become the social phenomenon.
The exhibition will be held from 20th November to 7th December, 2013; during the Hong Kong Art Gallery Week. We warmly invite you to our preview opening night on 20th November (Wednesday), 6pm to 9pm.
